There is also a battery bank which collects the energy that is generated during the day and not used, so that energy can be used at night when the sun goes down. There is a septic tank for sewerage.

The main house consists of one large space equivalent to 28m2 which acts as a lounge, kitchen & bedroom space (The set-up of this property is similar to a studio type of design, everything in 1 room). Underneath this space there is a garage which could be converted into a separate bedroom and bathroom if a spiral staircase is added taking you to the lower floor. The main current bathroom for this property is just outside the house and has a shower.

In terms of outbuildings there is a fantastic outside kitchen/barbecue space along with a storeroom which teams up as a utility room as well.

Hot water is powered via a gas boiler. The windows are double glazed with black out blinds and mosquito nets.

Casa Bonita is really suited for someone who is ideally looking for country living but walking distance to amenities and a nice small cosy country property, with a good sized plot and some fruit trees.

An underground swimming pool would not be permitted, however there is a beautiful back terrace off the main house, where you can build an erectable above ground swimming pool with a decking surround to make it look pretty, they are easily available from Leroy Merlin D.I.Y store which is just a 15 min drive away, and then it would look like an underground pool as it would be located off a raised terrace, and this area benefits from the beautiful views of the surrounding orange groves in the valley and mountain views. There are various shaded pergolas you can buy too with cloth tops or roll back blinds that are erectable and wouldn´t require planning permission that have metal structures.

The area, well it has everything you would need, fine, white sandy beaches just a 15/20 minute drive away, the village is within walking distance (5 min stroll) has a doctors, dentist, newsagents, several butchers, bakers, 2 supermarkets, various bars and restaurants, infant school, bank, chemist, weekly market and buses into Gandia city. Step out of the house and on the doorstep, you will find great walks and cycling countryside!

La Galiana golf course (one of the prettiest in Europe) is just a 15 min drive away!

The large historic city of Gandia is a 10 min drive away from Barx with some out-of-town shopping centres too such as the Vital centre with H & M, Zara home, and many, many clothes stores and restaurants. There is also a huge hypermarket called Carrefour, a large electrical retail store called Media Markt and a fantastic D.I.Y store that stocks everything you could imagine for your home called Leroy Merlin.

Catch the ferry from Gandia /Denia Marinas to the Balearic Islands too. The area is served by 2 international airports of Valencia and Alicante, Valencia being a 45 min drive away and Alicante being a 1.20-minute drive away.
