So much has been written about ''For Sale By Sally In Spain'' that its hard to find appropriate accolades that go beyond what has already been said. And then there is the reality that everything written about Harry and Clark - and by extension Sally, their personable professionalism, their genuine commitment to providing everything required to make the transition to owning a home in Spain a seamless one, is true. Ironically, in the end the testament we can add is that we never actually purchased a property through them. Instead we listened to and took their sound advice - “to take the time to be completely sure that a property is the right one (for us)”. In all the hype associated with property sales, this selflessness remains unprecedented. And so, while so many successful stories end with the signing of a paper, we left (for Andalucía) with a greater appreciation for what it takes to purchase a home in Spain - and some very high expectations for the realtor we did eventually meet with. Sally and her colleagues/team provided an exceptionally professional service both in marketing our villa and recommending improvements to improve its saleability. Our villa had been on the market for 11 months with three other local estate agents without a single viewing before we gave the sole agency to Sally. Within 2 weeks we had had our first viewing and interested buyers came on a regular basis until a buyer was found 6 months later. Sally’s attention to detail and excellent local knowledge enabled us to sell the large villa very quickly in what was a difficult market. Sally provided a top-class personal service and worked enthusiastically with us in finding a buyer and smoothing the path though the sometimes-complex Spanish legal system. Nothing was too much trouble for her, including making arrangements for non-contractual matters while we were out of the country. After family bereavement my Mum with dementia had to return to the UK. Then began the difficult process of trying to sell the Spanish property from the UK.
I cannot stress enough how wonderfully the sale of the property was handled. Not only was the service we received with the house excellent but they went above and beyond by arranging the transport from Spain to England some large precious pictures of my Mum's.
