Oliva town is a 10-minute drive away, there is an exceptionally large weekly market on a Friday that sells fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes, leather goods, hardware items etc. There are many bars and restaurants to choose from and large supermarkets such as Aldi, Family Cash and Mercadona. There are 2 vets’ practices and everything you need to live in Spain permanently or for a holiday home.

This area has something for everyone, the stunning golden, sandy beaches are spectacular, and this area is where the Spanish come on holiday, therefore come 3pm in the afternoon, even in the height of the summer the beaches are not crowded as the Spanish all take their long lunches and afternoon siestas.

The Oliva Nova Golf course is not far, 15 mins approximately by car, designed by Seve Ballesteros. Go Karting, Horse riding, sailing, kite surfing, jet skis, paddle boarding, tennis clubs, driving range, a Marina, all available in the area to enjoy.There is also a fantastic equestrian centre at Oliva Nova where there are many international competitions. This area has the perfect climate making it a fantastic area for hiking and cycling.

Join the U3A group in Oliva and get to know lots of like-minded people that go on trips around Spain, do courses in various things, walking club, learning Spanish, line dancing, and many, many activities to enjoy. There are Spanish bilingual private schools, and an international school called the British School in Gandia which is not far, both have school buses from Oliva, or Oliva has its own Spanish schools if you prefer. Stunning mountain and sea views and a simply perfect location being so close to the coast, beaches, and Marina, yet situated in a quiet residential place with great outside spaces in which to enjoy the sunshine 360 days of the year!!
