Casa Wisteria is located in Pla De Corrals which is 15 mins to the village of Barx and 12 mins drive to the village of Barxeta, in the Valencia province.  The landscape is full of pine clad mountains and orange groves.  Casa Wisteria is walking distance to a bar/restaurant.   Barxeta has a few bars and restaurants, a butcher, a small supermarket, bank, bakery, infants’ school, pharmacy, garage repair workshop, small weekly market. There are various fiestas here and the highlight being August time when all the individual smaller towns have fiesta celebrations over 4 days!

Barx is also a 15 min drive away through the most beautiful enchanting countryside, and has all amenities for daily living such as pharmacy, doctors’ surgery, dentist, 2 bakers, 3 butchers, newsagent, infants’ school, bars and restaurants, plus 2 small supermarkets that are well stocked and a small weekly market.  There are many local fiestas in Barx and charity events all year round. There are great cycling and hiking routes to enjoy on the doorstep.

29 mins drive takes you to the sandy beaches of Playa Tavernes and just a 24 min drive to the city of Xativa with very large supermarkets, a castle and all the larger shopping facilities you would expect.  Xativa also has a British international school and good transport links to Valencia city as there is a train station there too.  

A 35 min drive takes you to Gandia city again with many bars and restaurants and 2 out of town shopping malls too with big named stores like H & M, Zara, C & A etc, and Gandia also boasts a stunning sandy blue flag beach that runs for 12 kilometers with a Marina and evening street market during the summer months.

The nearest golf course would be La Galiana, a 23 min drive, its one of the prettiest golf courses in Europe!

There is also a waterpark in Cullera that is 30 min drive to get too, great when family come to visit.

The property benefits from 2 inernational airports,  Alicante airport being a 1.27 mins drive or Valencia being closer and just an hour’s drive away, or take the train from Xativa into the heart of Valencia and catch the metro straight into Valencia airport terminal.
