Location:-

This property comes under the town hall of Ador which is a small characterful village with village shops, however just a 5-minute drive takes you to the larger and bustling town of Villalonga, it offers all the amenities you could wish for. It has a main paseo with a twice weekly market, and a large range of amenities including a large Mercadona supermarket on the edge of the town, banks, restaurants and bars, a boutique hotel, English speaking dentist and vet, health centre, optician and too many services to mention!  Indeed, everything you would need for daily living. 

The historic city of Gandia is just a 10 min drive away, it is full of charm and culture with fabulous restaurants and bars, a culture theatre and some great clothes shops too.  There are many fiestas held in Gandia and a convenient train station too.  The train takes 35/40 minutes to the heart of Valencia city. Then from Valencia city hop on the metro straight into Valencia airport terminal so travel is easy too! 

The beaches at Playa Gandia or Playa Oliva are just a 15/20 mins drive max from Sierra Mar.  Gandia beach is a very clean blue flagged sandy beach with beautiful promenade alongside with shops and restaurants in abundance, there is an evening street market and also a beautiful harbour and marina.

15 min drive to Oliva old town and Oliva Playa (7 km long beach that is very child friendly and normally not crowded) there is also a Castle there and a Friday Market.

There are many smaller village beaches stretching all the way down the coast for 12 kilometres and these beaches are generally quite empty at 3pm in the afternoons (even in August) when all the Spanish go for a long lunch and siesta.

The Oliva Nova Golf course is only about a 25 / 30  min drive away, there is also La Galiana Golf course which is one of the prettiest golf courses in Europe. Go Karting, Horse riding, sailing, kite surfing and much more are all available in the area.

Villa Sierra Mar is the sort of property you can just turn the key, unpack, sit on the terraces, have a few glasses of vino and then have an afternoon siesta, spending the late afternoon soaking up the wonderful views and taking a dip in the swimming pool. 

There are many beautiful countryside walks nearby and along the side of a babbling brook too!  The area is great for dog walking, hiking and cycling. 

We are lucky as this area is served by 2 international airports, Valencia being about a 55 min drive away and Alicante about 1.15 mins drive.
