Fancy owning a piece of paradise, a super new villa with an orange grove, then look no further!
We have all the contacts to help build the villa of your dreams, in a fabulous area near an international school and golf course and a short distance to the town and sandy beaches!
Currently the plot is utilized as follows:-
Satsuma oranges take up half of the plot which are harvested in late December/ early January, Navelina oranges take up a quarter of the plot, these are harvested at the end of November/beginning of December, and the other quarter of the plot are planted with Valencian oranges which are harvested at the end of April/beginning of May.
The oranges are drip fed water through a fully automated system. There is also a device in the field for cutting the water off which is what the current owners do when there has been a downpour of rain.
The owners of the orange groves belong to a society called "La botánica". The payment is approximately 360€ a year paid in two six monthly installments. This gives you the right to the water system that provides the water and the fertilizer too for the orange grove, the fertilizer gets added to the water.
The water at the weekends, including Friday, is without fertilizer so local people use this time to fill or refill pools and water deposit tanks.
The water costs (including fertilizer) for last year, for the whole plot of oranges was €1,534.00.
This orange grove has been lovingly passed down and taken care of by the same family over the years, but If you were to professionally run the orange grove or pass it to someone that is knowledgable about the crop and share the profits, then it is likely the profits would be much higher.
A sophisticated solar power system would be the cheapest way of having electric to the plot, the systems these days are so good that you are never without electric and obviously then no monthly electric bills either. There is water to the plot.
